Accepted

Glad to announce that I was accepted to the Glynn Art Paint Out this April. The event takes place on St. Simons Island, GA just south of my old stomping ground, Savannah.

The event will begin Tuesday, April 17 and culminate in a sale and reception Saturday evening. This is my first plain air paint out event and I am nervous and excited. I will be coming in on the heels of painting in that area three weeks prior and then 7 days in the cloud forests of Costa Rice, needless to say, I should be primed and ready!

Merry Merry

I have a boatload of commission I did for people over the holiday, and now the cat is out of the bag. I painted this piece for a client whose husband collects tractors. This is his favorite, a gas powered Farmall Super M. Easily my favorite tractor as well, a true beast. This one was aged just right and still put to use. This tractor was his uncles and the tractor he learned to drive on.

Chair in Autumn Field Revisited

Chair in Autumn Field, 24"x30", oil on gallery wrap, $1200
Sometimes I wish I hadn't painting something when I knew nothing... thus the revisit. I painted this chair when I was still goofing around with no idea what I was doing... in acrylic much less. I love to go back and resurrect those old images with what I have leaned over the past few years.

Latest Gallery Drop off

If you are in the downtown Newnan area, make sure you swing by the Flint Gallery of Panoply to see my latest. All work will be up for a short period before they are rotated out. See them while you can! My last installment sold out pretty quickly!

This was commissioned by the original designer that commissioned the original. I normally don't do that, but it is the least I can do.
