Barn on Lamar Potts Road

I have painted this barn several times over the past several years... on my own, in workshops and with friends. This one is done in gouache.

Barn at Oak Grove

Painted this barn at Oak Grove Plantation in my hometown as a study for a series of paintings on this location for the Plein Air Painters of the Southeast.

You can purchase this piece here:

A favorite subject if mine here in Newnan. This was done from a smaller plein air piece. These barns will be available at Huff Harrington Fine Art later this fall!

Hidden Path... Finder

Found this barn driving around west Tennessee near Bell Buckle... Though I don't like painting newer cars, the Nissan Patfinder hidden in the barn screamed to be painted.

Mr Chestnut's Barn

Went out with Millie Gosch and Stephanie Morris, a friend we made at the Sherrie McGraw workshop. I will post more on that and the Callaway Paint Out soon.

Hidden 330

Hidden, 11"x14", oil on RayMar panel, $200
Painted this from an old photo I found. The town I used to live in was too abundant in painting inspiration and I took a great deal of reference material. Some I painted on location, some, like this, I had to do from photographs.
