Everyone needs a celebrity collector, and I just got my first one. Justin Verlander, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, commissioned these pieces last month. I had done smaller pieces that he saw, but they had already sold. Hope this is the first of many!

ReplyDeletethanks, suzanne!
DeleteLove the warm and cool shadow on the ball! Really neat paintings.
ReplyDeletethank you, tracey! it really pulls you in....
DeleteThat baseball is awesome!! It would e really cook to put either your sgnature on it or a famous signature on it. I did one of a chinese takeout container I thought was cool enough to paint and put it right on a chair in front of me and painted it, then signed it on the side of the container lol. Nice paintings and your colors are great.

that's a great idea! the ball did have signatures on it... but i was scared i was going to mess up the ball and also thought there was a possibility it want going to add anything to it. i shoulda tried, though.
DeleteGreat story. How cool is that! I was born a Tiger fan; it's in my DNA. Looks like the ball he used to saw that batter's bat in half.
