The beginning of something exciting for me here. There is actually a "Home I" that will be put later. This is in the house where I grew up and currently where my parents live. I was lucky to grow up in a home it's age, it gave me a respect for things that were built by hand and loved by the people who live in it. The house was built in 1839. My parents bought it for $25, seriously, and moved to a piece of land they owned in downtown Newnan. It is still a work in progress for them. None of these paintings will be for sale, but I will be doing others that do not have the sentimental value of these.

ReplyDeleteThis is an absolutely amazing painting. One of the best I've seen anywhere in a long time. You are very fortunate to have grown up in an historical house, and honored it so well in this piece. Bravo!
