Home II

Inside Out, Home II, 24"x30", oil on museum wrap, NFS
The beginning of something exciting for me here. There is actually a "Home I" that will be put later. This is in the house where I grew up and currently where my parents live. I was lucky to grow up in a home it's age, it gave me a respect for things that were built by hand and loved by the people who live in it. The house was built in 1839. My parents bought it for $25, seriously, and moved to a piece of land they owned in downtown Newnan. It is still a work in progress for them. None of these paintings will be for sale, but I will be doing others that do not have the sentimental value of these.

  2. This is an absolutely amazing painting. One of the best I've seen anywhere in a long time. You are very fortunate to have grown up in an historical house, and honored it so well in this piece. Bravo!

  4. This could be my favorite David Boyd. That open door brings outdoor fresh air and light into an already fresh interior. So beautiful.
