A couple of weeks ago I was in St. Simons Island, GA for an invitational paint out.... my first. I was nervous, but confident in my skills. I had been painting out quite a bit and had become very comfortable with my palette. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the beautiful shadow cast by this huge palm tree. The boring light was great, but it came and went... mostly went. I made sure I got a good cell phone image while the sun was out in case I didn't see it again! t knocked this little gem out before 10AM and felt good about my day.

ReplyDeletei'm always so impressed in the way you break up edges. it's so subtly done that i never notice it at first, but becomes apparent after a few seconds.
